Everything in England revolves around the perfect cuppa. Sakina noticed on her recent tip back to the Emerald Isle that even pubs were being converted into charming English tea houses- at least those that had not been purchased by wealthy Bengali restaurant owners.
Sakina and her family left the racquet club after a fun game of tennis and sauntered over to a place called "Primrose Lane". They hoped to be served a traditional English cream tea there together with scones and clotted cream.
Sakina remembered walking home from school and crossing that same road and reaching the place formerly known as "The Rose and Crown". Her mother would even tell her to hold her nose as she passed by in case the alcohol somehow infected her nasal passages. Sakina was always afraid she would die from asphyxiation right outside a tavern.
It was surreal to be now be sipping some Darjeeling tea and munching on an egg and cress sandwich in a place she used to associate with pub grub and midnight brawls.

Ahhh. So refreshing!
Can we have a tea get-together ASAP? It may not be authentic, but we can bake jam tarts and scones. Let's do it! My place or yours?
How about at my place? That would be authentic!
Ismath- oh if only...
