And the usually cloudless canvas above has lost its eternal sunshine.

It has taken on a ghoulish Jack o Lantern colored hue.

There's an, eerie ominous silence.

Intelligence.

Common sense.

Where have you gone?

Homes destroyed, lives lost. 

Hopes, dreams, livelihoods are all ablaze.

Compassion.

Decency, unity

all vanished in a smoky haze.

Caged, stifled, gasping for covid free, hate-free, air.

It's been four long years.

of swallowing this fake news fake hue.

Time to make those orange skies blue.
