Sakina's thoughts turned from chunky Fall sweaters to spot heaters and gloves. As she turned up the thermostat, it seemed like a good time to re-visit her photos of a business trip to Carmel by the Sea. She had jotted down some quotations in the notebook portion of her Android. The sayings had come from a glossy volume that had been strategically positioned on the bed-side table in her hotel room. It was published by ReMax.
"Ah," sighed Sakina, flicking through her phone, recalling the majestic shots of the Pacific as well as the quotes. "Those realtors were preaching to the choir,"
"Seriously though, " said her husband looking up suddenly from this week's Economist. " What's wrong with Californians?". He sensed his wife's annual restlessness at the first sign of Winter and was keen to distract her. "They couldn't place Gideon's Bibles in the dresser drawers like every other state of the union?"
